Story:
HARMONY DISCOVERS SHE DOESN’T KNOW WHERE SHE BELONGS
Harmony is faced with a challenging decision when she enters a new school and sees 5 different cliques in the atrium. This results in her questioning who she really is.
HARMONY COMES TO SCHOOL AS A “POPULAR”
Harmony is dressed as one of the popular girls, and she attempts to make friends in the clique. However, the popular girls aren’t really looking for a new member and flat out ignore Harmony.
HARMONY COMES TO SCHOOL AS AN “EMO”
Harmony is dressed like an emo (though she’s very uncomfortable dressed like this), and approaches the emo clique, who begin to ask her many questions about her music interests, etc. and finally her choice of weapon. This scares Harmony and she naturally walks away.
HARMONY COMES TO SCHOOL AS A “NERD”
Harmony is dressed like a nerd and walks up to the nerds. She looks like a great nerd, however, she exaggerates how to act like a nerd and comes off as making fun of them, to which the nerds yell at her and she runs away.
HARMONY COMES TO SCHOOL AS A “GANGSTER”
Harmony is in the washroom of the school, wearing gangster apparel. She walks in front of the mirror, looks at herself, poses, and says “That’s it I’m not going”. (Like how Jim Carrey does it in The Grinch).
HARMONY COMES TO SCHOOL AS A “PREP”
Harmony is dressed like a prep, pigtails and all, and approaches the girls, who accept her. Harmony feels ecstatic at first, but the clique’s ability to be positive and happy 24/7 begins to wear on Harmony’s nerves so she leaves the group.
HARMONY GIVES UP BUT FINALLY FINDS GIRLS LIKE HER
Harmony returns to school as her normal self, accepting the fact that she just doesn’t fit in. Then she is approached by another clique she failed to notice, one where she clearly belongs.
INTERVIEW WITH HARMONY
Harmony discusses her attempts at figuring out where she belongs, and explains that trying to be something you’re not doesn’t work. There are always people who are willing to accept you for who you are, it’s just a matter of finding them.
Camera & Lighting:
Camera will switch from many angles, but will mostly Track Harmony as she walks around the school.
Lighting will be the normal lighting of the school, as it is a “mockumentary”.
Music & Special Effects:
Music will reflect Harmony’s changing personality (Ex. If she is popular then a popular song will play).
